ST. PAUL – A 42-year-old St. Paul man is accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting two girls, according to a criminal complaint filed Oct. 24 in Ramsey County District Court.
Gonzalo Alejandro Buenrostro Estrada is facing one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving penetration with a child under 16 years old and one count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a child under 16 years old that he had a significant relationship with, both felonies.
Both girls reported to police that Estrada sexually assaulted them on multiple occasions prior to 2019, according to the complaint signed by St. Paul Police Sgt. Christopher Langr.
Karen Kugler, a prosecutor with the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office who specializes in sexual assaults, also signed the complaint.
Langr wrote that both girls, currently ages 12 and 11 years old, reported mental health issues following the assaults.
Estrada told one of the girls not to tell anyone about the sexual assaults or he would hit her, according to Langr.
The case is assigned to Judge John Guthmann.
A warrant was issued for Estrada and no court date has been scheduled.
