As assault trial looms for right-wing dipshit, prosecutors submit evidence he does it for the money

MINNEAPOLIS — A 36-year-old St. Cloud man's trial for assaulting several people in the Twin Cities is slated to begin next week and prosecutors plan to submit evidence that he has continued to harass people throughout the metro area.

Zak X is facing a misdemeanor assault charge for sucker punching a man in December 2025 at the Bishop Henry Whipple building and a felony assault charge for attacking a man during a Bloomington No Kings protest in March. The trials for both cases are scheduled for Monday.

The Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building is located in Ft. Snelling. It acts as the de facto Immigration and Customs Enforcement headquarters for the Midwest. X has been vocal about his support of ICE, President Donald Trump and the ethnic cleansing program taking place in the United States.

X, who formerly changed his name from Zachary Allen Stumpf in 2024, is a right-wing agitator who is often seen around the metro area at various protests where he insults people and sexually harasses women.

“He is just a pest,” Twin Cities activist Jaime Palmquist told Misfits Media.

X’s standard operating procedure seems to be acting as vulgar as he can while moving closer and closer to his victims in order to get some type of reaction, according to Palmquist.

“He would walk up to somebody’s face and be maybe six inches apart and then if that person just kind of leaned toward him, Zak would kind of lean back and just scream, ‘You’re in my space! You’re in my space!'” Palmquist said.

In addition to wearing a bullet-resistant vest that is too small for him, X is known to carry various weapons, including a pepper ball gun and “Mpact" gloves with hard plastic around the knuckles, according to law enforcement records.

“When he’s by himself, all he is, is a mouthpiece.” Palmquist said. “When there are other agitators by his side that he feels could back him up, then I would not at all put it past yet another physical confrontation with a protester."

“My impression of him, when he’s all by himself, he’s just a swearing, profanity filled, sexually suggestive, vulgar language wimp,” Palmquist said.

Because of his continued harassment, the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office plans to introduce evidence during his trial alleging that his behavior is done for shock value in order to get his viewers to donate money to him.

Prosecutors plan to highlight four June incidents based on X’s own livestream, which shows him challenging people to fight, shouting at people to incite a reaction and making sexually suggestive comments to women.

“You guys are playing checkers, I’m playing chess, bitch,” X said on his livestream during one of those incidents. “Keep fucking around and finding out, you fucking losers.”

He has monetized his aggressive behavior on YouTube, where he debases himself and others. Video evidence and witness statements support the prosecutors' accusation that, basically, X is a cuck for capitalism.

In his videos, X emphasizes that he goes to different protests to exercise his First Amendment rights, but prosecutors note that he also makes money from his social media posts.

According to a prosecutor memorandum, at the June 25 protest in Wayzata, X mentions that he isn’t getting any donations “then he seemingly does some screaming in response and tries to provoke protesters further to attempt to entice more of his viewers to donate. After a while of not receiving any donations, defendant leaves the protest."

X’s increasingly volatile behavior has kept him in and out of courtrooms over the last year, starting with a judge who awarded a restraining order to a St. Cloud woman who accused him of rape and harassment.

While the St. Cloud Police Department investigated the sexual assault claim against X, the Stearns County Attorney's Office declined to bring charges because it felt it was unlikely to prove the crime beyond a reasonable doubt, according to a statement from the Attorney’s Office.

X was fired from his job where he worked with the woman, the loss of which has led him to shouting at and assaulting people for social media views.

This is seemingly X’s full-time job now as his lawyer, Scott Lewis, called X a “professional protester,” during a court hearing earlier this year.
