MINNEAPOLIS – A 40-year-old Mound man is accused of sexually assaulting a minor girl, according to a complaint filed last week in Hennepin Coounty District Court.
Matthew Belvin Hager is charged with felony second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor who he had a significant relationship with.
The child reported in a forensic interview that Hager would give her a Reese’s cup after sexually assaulting her, according to the complaint signed by Minneapolis Police Sgt. Timothy Sonnek and Assistant County Attorney Olivia Kratzke.
Police were first informed about the alleged abuse in August, according to Sonnek.
Hager is scheduled to appear in front of Judge Sarah Hudelston on Nov. 13.
