MINNEAPOLIS – A 38-year-old Minneapolis man is accused of molesting a teenage girl over the course of two summers, according to charges filed in Hennepin County District Court last week.
Terrance Nathaniel Chapman is facing two felony charges of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor while in a position of authority.
Chapman sexually assaulted the girl during the summers of 2020 and 2021 when she was 13 and 14 years old, according to the complaint signed by Minneapolis Police Sgt. Patrick Myslajek and Assistant Hennepin County Attorney Paige Starkey.
The girl disclosed the abuse to a friend in 2024 and to Chapman’s former spouse in 2025, according to Myslajek.
Chapman is scheduled for a first appearance before Judge Jeannice Reding on Nov. 25.
