LEDE – A 33-year-old Edina man is accused of possessing child sexual abuse material, according to a complaint filed in Hennepin County District Court last month.
Ryan Joseph Nobles is charged with two felony counts of possessing pornographic work of a minor under 14 in a complaint signed by Bloomington Police Detective Morgan Piper and Assistant Hennepin County Attorney Jesse Berglund.
Police were first notified by the social media app Kik that Nobles had downloaded child sexual abuse material in December 2024, according to Piper.
Nobles was arrested in February 2025 at his place of work and his electronics were seized but he was not charged until Nov. 2025.
Law enforcement claims that 83 files of child abuse material were found on Nobles’ devices.
His next court date is scheduled for Dec. 16.
