MINNEAPOLIS – A Crystal man is accused of sexually assaulting his step-daughter, according to a complaint filed Thursday in Hennepin County District Court.
Michael Angelo Walker, 35, is charged with felony second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor while in a position of authority.
Walker would go into the girl’s bedroom once or twice a week over the last six or seven months and sexually assault her, according to the criminal complaint signed by Crystal police officer Tim Tourville and Assistant Hennepin County Attorney Kaitlyn Cannon.
During the last assault in November, Walker told the girl “I shouldn’t want this but I do,” and “Just one taste and I will leave,” Tourville wrote in his complaint.
Walker’s wife, who is the girl’s mother, told police that Walker has a condition that requires him to soak in a tub, which he had recently been doing more often during the times of the alleged assaults, according to Tourville’s complaint.
Judge Luis Bartolomei ordered Walker can be released on a $75,000 bond provided he not contact the girl, visit her residence or have any contact with minors.
Walker is still listed as in custody in the Hennepin County jail.
His next hearing is scheduled for Dec. 19 in front of Judge Maximillia Utley.
